Website for Galway to engage with their community in a bid to win Capital of Culture 2020.

I was the sole developer on this site, constructing front-end and back-end elements. During the build, I had opportunities to design user-focused elements, this included share features, event submission forms, search functions, vision wall, etc. As well as this I had opportunities to redesign some elements of the website to incorporate more information or a different purpose for the same tool.

I worked closely with the designer on this project, I really enjoyed how we worked together bouncing ideas off each other and pushing ourselves.

Projects

I redesigned this project layout in order to display more information and to have a clearer hierarchy of information and make the page more coherent for users.

I am a designer-developer, working as a project lead at Dauntless. I enjoy the fusion of the creative and the technical. I love creating and implementing user-centered designs. I work closely with designers to constantly re-evaluate the design to ensure the best flow and usability. I strive daily to improve my skills and push the skills I do have to create stronger and better user experiences. At the end of the day, there is nothing like punching the air in celebration after solving a complicated problem.

I have many hobbies ballet, music, hiking, reading, drawing. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and learning new cultures, I have been to North America, Central America and all over Europe, Asia is next on my list.
